Aleš Najbrt is a prominent Czech graphic designer. He is the artistic director of Studio Najbrt, which he founded in 1994. Since its inception, the studio has won numerous awards – e.g. the Grand Prix of the 17th Biennial of Graphic Design Brno 1996 for theatre and film posters, the bronze medal of The Tokyo Typedirectors Club, five Czech Lions and Czech Grand Design 2007. Aleš Najbrt studied lettering and book graphics with Prof. Jan Solpera at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (1982–1988). In the early 1990s, he worked as art director of Reflex magazine and editor-in-chief and graphic designer of Raut magazine. You can see his work, for example, in the visual communication of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, the Czech Philharmonic, Prague Sounds… Studio Najbrt is also the author of many brands – including one of the financial partners of the MenART program, Czech Television, the Capital City of Prague. of the city of Prague, Ostrava, the National Gallery, DOX or Kunsthalle Prague.
His other artistic activities are also worth noting - he is a member of the equilibrist duo Thomas & Ruhller, the Tros Sketos formation, the singer of M.T.O. Universal Prague and the Sklep theater. He was also a member of the Křeč Ballet Unit.

- Age: 12 +
- Planned number of participants: maximum 10 pupils/students and their teachers
- Please attach photo documentation of the pupil/student's work to the application - 5 works ideally from the field of graphic design (not a requirement). We look forward to receiving letters from students explaining why they would like to be in this group, or what they expect, and letters of recommendation from teachers explaining why they are recommending this particular student.
