Alžběta Skálová (1982)

illustrator, painter

- studied at the Studio of Film and Television Graphics and the Studio of Illustration and Graphics at UMPRUM

- she devotes herself to painting, graphics and the creation of objects. She has illustrated several dozen books (e.g. Pampe and Šinka, Plant Lore, Klárka and 11 Grandmothers)

- under the artistic label naPOLI she created mainly books, posters and paper games

- for her work she has received the Most Beautiful Czech Book and Magnesia Litera awards

- as a visual artist she contributed to the animated film Fruits of Clouds

- her father is the visual artist and musician František Skála

Thus the MenART Impulse project was born – a ten-minute story with the ambition to move forward all those who are interested in art, work with art or study it. Desire is contagious!
